Hi guys! Cooper here… hope your week was filled with playing outside and chasing squirrels, rabbits and groundhogs (it was a busy week) just like mine was! Have you ever wondered what it would be like to publish a book? Have you ever had a story that you wanted to tell to the world, but did not know how to do so? On a recent episode of The LinkedIn Lady Show, Carol stated, “Being a published author gives you an added level of authenticity, leadership, and authority.” So, lets talk publication and how to get published.  In the world of publishing, there are 3 distinct options. The first option is called “traditional publishing.” Traditional publishing is the process of writing a manuscript and finding an agent. The agent will then find a publisher to publish your book. Historically, traditional publishing was the only way to get published. The second option is “Self publishing.” Self publication is the process of the author doing everything for themselves – from writing the book, editing it, publishing it, and printing it. The third option is Hybrid publishing. Hybrid publishing is in the middle of traditional and self-publishing, and is considered the “new normal”.
